In the event an emergency or a serious medical situation should occur on Medaille College property, the following procedures should be followed:

1. If serious injury or illness occurs on campus, immediately call 911 and then call Public Safety at extension 2911. Public Safety will respond and coordinate the appropriate emergency response.
2. In case of minor injury or illness, call Public Safety at extension 2911. Public Safety will determine if first responders such as Rural Metro, Buffalo Fire Department and/or Buffalo Police are needed. If this is the case, then Public Safety will make the call.
3. In the event an emergency contact must be made, Public Safety will coordinate the effort to make the initial contact.

Due to liability issues, please do not call Health Services to respond to these occurrences. During business hours students with minor illness or injuries able to safely walk to the Wellness Center at 117 Humboldt Pkwy, are encouraged to do so.
