The City

Ask anyone who’s been to Buffalo. It needs to be seen to be believed. Did you know that Buffalo is second only to New York City as the largest city in the state? Did you also know winter doesn’t last forever? Or that Syracuse actually gets more snow per season than Buffalo? Forget what you think you know about our city. Except for all the delicious food options. That part’s definitely true.

There’s another thing that’s for sure: Buffalo is a city on the rise. Businesses are sprouting up everywhere and thriving in a resurgent economic climate. Medaille students are taking note too. That’s why the vast majority of Medaille graduates stay here and find employment in Western New York. The city is extremely close to other large metro areas providing even more professional opportunity. Toronto is just a two hour drive away. Not only is Buffalo where college meets career, it’s a great place to call home.

It’s also a great place to experience art and entertainment. Cheer on the Buffalo Bills at New Era Field or the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center. Get inspired by a Jackson Pollock or Andy Warhol at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Enjoy the natural beauty of Delaware Park as you row around Hoyt Lake. There are year-round recreational activities and Buffalo has all the culture in the world to offer. There’s an entire city waiting for you to explore and Medaille College is right in the center of it... but don’t take our word for it. See what the press is saying about Buffalo!
