Gergely Koos-Hutas ’05 MBA resides in Budapest, Hungary where he is the Head of International Partnership Development at Zala Springs, Ltd. Zala Springs’ new development in Hungary features a golf course, spa resort, winery and luxury villas, penthouses and cottages.
“I am in charge of international partnership development and coordinating the sales and marketing teams globally,” said Koos-Hutas. According to the corporate web site, www.zalasprings.com, “The [golf] course at Zala Springs will be the best in Central Europe. The course, designed by Robert Trent Jones II, includes eighteen challenging holes over 7,250 yards around the resort properties, vineyards, nature reserves, lake and 35,000 square foot clubhouse.”
When he’s not at work, Koos-Hutas volunteers with the Calasanctius Training Program (CTP) which provides scholarship opportunities in the United States for selected Hungarian professionals. The CTP was created ten years ago in Buffalo by Balazs Borkamen and Dr. Peter W. Forgach, a local eye surgeon. The Program was designed to provide Hungarian students with higher education and real-world experience attending school in the US.
The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
