Richard T. Jurasek, Ph.D., president of Medaille, participated in a session at the recent Accelerate Upstate conference sponsored by the Buffalo Niagara Partnership. This two-day conference brought together leaders from WNY to discuss and to analyze issues related to economic growth in the region. 

Dr. Jurasek's panel, "An Education in Education: Higher Ed as an Economic Driver," included: Nancy Zimpher, SUNY chancellor; John Hurley, Canisius College president; and Anne Kress, Ph.D., Monroe Community College president.
