Robert H. Johnson, Ph.D. was recently certified a senior ecologist by the Professional Certification Board of the Ecological Society of America. The ESA certification program recognizes professional ecologists who have met high standards of education, original research, professional experience and ethics, and helps identify these standards to the general public. His certification was based on his contribution to the science of ecology. There are currently 315 ESA-certified senior ecologists worldwide. Dr. Johnson is an associate professor in the Department of Math and Science.
