Medaille College hosted two speakers for its annual student-athlete orientation event on Thursday, September 22.
Over 150 student-athletes heard Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson and sports nutrition expert Leslie J. Bonci of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Jackson is a graduate of Coe College, a Division III school, and has played for the Buffalo Bills since 2007. Bonci is a nationally-recognized nutrition expert who consults for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Pittsburgh Pirates and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

“I'm grateful for the education I've received.”
The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
