Associate Professor Elaine Correa, Ph.D. attended the World Universities Forum International Conference held in Rhodes, Greece from January 8-11, 2012. Her paper, "Give us what we want! Not what you think we need. Challenges to Teaching in a Culture of Entitlement," was very well-received, initiating interest in possible future comparative research work.
As part of this conference, Dr. Correa also served as an external reviewer of the Basque County Pilot Study Accreditation Report (Spain), which will be implemented in 2012-13 in compliance with European Accreditation Regulations and Standards in Education. Dr. Correa teaches in Medaille's School of Education.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
