Medaille College has been recognized by Military Advanced Education magazine as a military-friendly college for 2012.
The publication, which has published its list of military-friendly universities and colleges since 2007, evaluates schools with the input of military education professionals. Medaille’s listing cites its acceptance of transfer credits, the student-veteran organization, veterans center on campus, scholarships and Yellow Ribbon program as evidence of the support services that it provides to service members, veterans and their families as they transition from the military to the classroom, and from the classroom to a career. The college has also been recognized by Military Times and GI Jobs magazines as a military-friendly institution.
The Office of Veterans and Military Affairs at Medaille College offers a comprehensive veterans benefits screening and works to ensure that veteran students are maximizing the benefits they have earned. In addition to providing assistance with veterans’ education benefits, such as the GI Bill, the New York State Veterans Tuition Award and other veterans’ scholarship programs, the office also provides general New York State and federal benefits assistance for veterans and their families. Medaille also offers veterans a $10,000 VETS Scholarship above and beyond state and federal assistance.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
