On April 19, Medaille announced the creation of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Change at Riverside High School, part of an ongoing commitment to supporting the Buffalo Public Schools and the work being done by organizations like the Northwest Buffalo Community Center to revitalize the Riverside-Black Rock neighborhood.
Nearly 80 local leaders, community representatives and Riverside High School staff took part in a celebration at the school, where Medaille also announced that it will provide up to $450,000 in scholarships to Riverside High School graduates who attend Medaille, starting in fall 2014.
Media who covered this announcement include the Buffalo News, WBFO/WNED and YNN Buffalo.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
