Kendell McFayden '09, a former All-American on Medaille’s
men’s soccer team celebrated Independence Day with the Rochester Rhinos where
he scored the teams first two goals of the game, including the game winner.
McFayden, who had started the 2012 season playing under
the direction of his former coach and current Medaille head coach Daniel J.
Krzyzanowicz playing for FC Buffalo in the NPSL, had never lost sight of
getting back to the USL Pro level.
His standout performances in the NPSL
caught the eye of current Rochester Rhinos coach Jesse Myers and Myers
officially signed McFayden on June 22nd, 2012 and then quickly inserted him
into the lineup the next day in a match at Richmond Kickers.
“I am absolutely thrilled for Kendell and the entire McFayden family. Kendell,
over the past 6-7 months, has played some of the best soccer of his young
career and was certainly deserving of the start. He is an absolutely
fantastic athlete and is greatly improving the tactical aspects of his game at
the professional level. I look forward to watching his future development under
Coach Myers.”

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
