A variety of topics were covered that ranged from fundraising to community involvement to developing leaders to adhering to social media policies to new technologies for coaching and recruiting. All of the panelists talked about the hard decisions they have made over the years in leading coaches and student-athletes, what qualities to look for in hiring coaches and staff and recalled the variety of roles and duties they undertook early in their careers on their way to becoming athletic directors.
