Dr. Keith Klostermann, director of Medaille’s master’s in psychology program, is consulting with the Federal Veteran's System to provide training in behavioral couples therapy for substance abuse to mental health providers working at VA facilities across the country.

Dr. Klostermann was recently recognized by the National VA System as a master trainer in the BCT-SUD approach and will begin training health providers at a training sessin in Atlanta, GA on August 20-23. Following the training, attendess will participate in weekly structured consultation calls on the implementation of BCT-SUD for six months with experts, including Dr. Klostermann.

 

 

 

 

 

I'm grateful for the education I've received.

The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
