The mission of the Office of Institutional Research and Planning is to provide timely data, information, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making throughout Medaille College and to coordinate and facilitate the development of new programs for the College.

The Office of Institutional Research and Planning:

  • prepares and administers longitudinal tracking system surveys and summarizes and disseminates results
  • coordinates institutional outcomes assessment processes with appropriate offices
  • prepares and disseminates enrollment, retention, and institutional outcomes assessment reports
  • coordinates needs assessment research for new activities and programs
  • coordinates data collection and assists with interpretation of data for accreditation activities
  • facilitates the development of the five year plan
  • provides budget analysis, modeling and support
