Merit and Transfer Scholarships

A large number of merit scholarships are awarded by the Undergraduate Admissions Office each year to incoming first-year and transfer students enrolling in traditional undergraduate programs at the Buffalo Campus.

Undergraduate and transfer students are considered for these scholarship funds by completing their Medaille Application for Admission. No other application materials are required.

Merit Scholarships for First-time Freshmen, Fall 2013

These scholarships are for Buffalo Campus students only. Not applicable at the Amherst or Rochester Campuses.

• Trustee's Scholarship*: $15,000 per year.
• President's Scholarship*: $13,500 per year.
• Dean's Scholarship*: $10,500 per year.
• Gold Award*: $8,000 per year.
• Blue Award*: $4,500 per year.

*Each tuition scholarship is renewable for up to four consecutive years of full-time, undergraduate enrollment at the college.

Transfer Students, Fall 2013

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is also awarded to Amherst and Rocehster Campus students who are members. All other Merit and Transfer Scholarships do not apply to the Amherst and Rocehster Campuses.

• Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship: $8,000
• Medaille Collegiate Scholarship: $8,000
• Merit Scholarship: $7,000
• Transfer Grant: $6,000
• Financial Aid Grant: $5,000
• Alpha Chi Scholarship: $1,000 (students with an Alpha Chi Award may bring that to Medaille)
