This page contains the text of the document that all students accept and agree to upon enrolling at Medaille College and as they sign in for the first time to their MedailleOne account. Any questions about this document should be referred to the Student Accounts office.
I understand and agree that once I am registered for a course or courses at Medaille College (the “College”), I am solely responsible for payment of the resulting tuition, fees and any other balances pursuant to the Liability Schedule and Tuition Payment Policy posted on the College Web site. I fully understand, acknowledge, and agree that regardless of any expected reliance by me on any third-party resource, including, without limitation, financial aid, family gifts, employer reimbursement or any other external resource, I am and remain personally responsible for paying any and all balances due the College. This Agreement constitutes a continuing agreement obligating me to pay all outstanding balances due the College.
I understand and agree that should I fail to pay any outstanding balances in full when due and thus my account becomes delinquent, a late fee of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) for the semester in which I fail to pay will be assessed as a result of my outstanding balance. At
the end of the semester, if I have failed to bring my delinquent account current, I understand that thereafter, I shall be assessed interest on my account at the rate of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. I further understand and agree that when my account becomes delinquent the College, in addition to assessing a late fee and interest, may: 1) withhold future registration privileges or schedule adjustments; 2) withhold the awarding of any degree(s) or diplomas; 3) withhold providing official transcripts; and/or 4) commence collection and legal
proceedings against me resulting in additional costs and fees to me. I also understand that I may always verify my student account balance by logging on to my student BannerWeb account.
I understand that in accordance with the College's Withdrawal Policy, my effective date of withdrawal (whether it be from an individual course or from the College) will determine the amount of the credit that I may be eligible to receive, thereby reducing the total amount of fees owed to the College. For further information, refer to the College's Liability Schedule on the Student Accounts page.
I understand and agree that should my student account become delinquent, the College reserves the right to transfer my delinquent account to a collection agency, attorney and/or credit bureau. I acknowledge and agree that in this event, I will be held responsible for all collection costs and reasonable attorney's fees in addition to my outstanding balance. I hereby acknowledge that I have read this Agreement and fully understand it. By clicking on the I Agree button below, I am agreeing to be bound by all the terms of this Agreement, thereby obligating me to pay all outstanding balances that I may incur with Medaille College now and in the future.
The instructors were knowledgeable and welcomed class discussions, with
respect for each student's contribution. I've learned how to be a more
effective leader. My capstone class gave insight on how to combine all
the education learned to operate a business. That's when I realized how
much I had sharpened my knowledge.
