About Jenna Symons
Dr. Jenna Symons joined Medaille College in Fall 2019 as an adjunct instructor and became a Clinical Assistant Professor in Fall 2020. After growing up in West Virginia, she attended both Bridgewater College in Virginia and West Virginia University to complete the required undergraduate course work for veterinary school application. She received her D.V.M. degree in 2010 from the Virginia-Maryland (Regional) College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she returned to West Virginia and worked in the same small animal private practice for 8 years. During that time, she also had a short stint in emergency practice and also went back to school at Fairmont State University where she completed her bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2016. She then transitioned into relief work about 2 years before moving to New York in 2019 with her husband and daughter. Dr. Symons enjoys spending time with her family and can easily say working with veterinary technician students is the best job she has ever had!
