Build a solid foundation in accounting and finance by learning from faculty with real experience in the field. Plus, you can earn your Master of Science in Accounting at Medaille by staying on just one extra year! Meet our accounting faculty.
The Bachelor of Science in Accounting is right for you if you're looking for a career such as certified public accountant (CPA), financial manager, corporate accountant, internal auditor, fraud examiner or forensic accountant, to name a few. While you can work in accounting firms or businesses without your master's degree, choose Medaille's 4+1 program and complete your Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) by staying just one extra year! The MSA program provides the additional 30 credits and instruction required for you to sit for the CPA exam.

What can you do with a bachelor's in accounting?
Gain experience you will be able to use on your résumé through our internship program, which often turns into job offers. You may also choose to help manage Medaille's Commons Café, created and run by our own business and accounting students. Involvement in the café will give you real-world experience in:
Financial statement reporting
Budget preparation
Maintaining inventory
Paying employees
Day-to-day operations
Harness the opportunity to learn from knowledgeable professors who are experts in their fields, like Medaille's assistant professor Corinne Jones, MSA, CPA, and associate professor Patrick M. Johnson, MBA, CPA.
"Professor Johnson helped me become prepared for a career in accounting. He provided a baseline of knowledge to prepare us for life after school, as well as for the CPA exam."
