Medaille College Department of Social Sciences, Communication & Sport Studies Assistant Professor Juli Hinds, Ph.D., recently wrote a paper entitled “Rebooting Engaged Pedagogy: Strategies for Making Online Classrooms Dynamic, Inclusive and Holistic during the COVID-19 Era and Beyond,” which has been accepted by the scientific committee of the 2nd World Conference on Teaching and Education after a double blind peer review. She will virtually present the paper at the conference on February 19, where hundreds of members of academia, scientists, researchers, scholars, non-profit members and government representatives will be gathered.

Dr. Hinds has been teaching at Medaille since 2016, and she serves as the program director of Medaille’s communication and sport communication bachelor’s degree programs. She also serves as the advisor to the student-run television and radio stations at the College.
