A Jane Austen scholar, Dr. Villaseñor was invited to write a review of the 2020 film Emma for the British Society of Eighteenth-Century Studies, an interdisciplinary scholarly society based in the United Kingdom that promotes the study of all aspects of 18th-century history, literature and culture.
Dr. Alice Villaseñor recently presented her work at the Annual Conference of the British Society for Eighteenth Century Studies at St. Hugh’s College, Oxford University.

English program alumna Sarah Kinne ’14 currently works as a teaching assistant at the Northeastern University School of Law, in addition to being a staff assistant specialist for the Office for Scholarly Communication at Harvard University Libraries.
